Hendy Group has inducted 18 more employees into its exclusive ‘25 Year Club,’ bringing the total to an impressive 155 members.
This esteemed group represents 9.4% of the company’s 1,648-strong workforce, underscoring the 165-year-old family-run business’s commitment to employee retention and satisfaction.
The combined service of the club members now exceeds a remarkable 5,166 years, with members holding various positions across more than 40 locations in the south of England.
These roles include board level managers, technicians, customer service specialists, and other key positions such as regional service manager, head of brand performance, learning and development partner, and valeters.
The 2024 celebration event, held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole, was the highlight of the year, featuring a special dinner and awards ceremony hosted by members of the Hendy Family. The 18 new inductees were honoured with a carriage clock, presented by Paul Hendy, chief executive of Hendy Group.
Earlier in the day, both new and veteran members of the 25 Year Club, along with their families, were treated to a day of fun and fellowship.
Activities included an exclusive baking lesson from celebrity chef and Hendy Group ambassador, Rosemary Shrager, a round of crazy golf on Brighton Beach led by Hendy chairman Simon Gulliford, and walking tours exploring Brighton’s rich history.
Paul Hendy expressed his appreciation, saying, “This club holds a special place in my heart. These colleagues have dedicated years to the success of our group, and it’s a true privilege to celebrate their contributions with a day of joy and recognition.”
