LSH Auto hosted its third networking event organised by the Women of the Year Awards aimed at empowering women.
The sell-out event drew over 70 delegates to LSH Auto’s flagship location on Brighton Road, Stockport.
Among the guest speakers were Bea Armstead, belonging and engagement manager at the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), Nicole Sealey, CEO and star of Real Housewives of Cheshire, and Alexa Cherry, group director of sales for Dakota Hotels.
Bea Armstead said: “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many women and allies from different sectors all coming together to discuss common experiences and to champion all women in business.
“My goal is to transcend traditional equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging frameworks. I’m passionate about promoting genuine human connection rather than meeting checklists. Today’s event was a wonderful example of how bringing people together to form real connections with each other can be so powerful.”
Vaughan Blackman, managing director of LSH Auto, added: “I would like to thank the panel and everyone who attended our third ‘Women In…’ networking event. The day was another resounding success, and I’m sure our guests left feeling inspired and empowered.
“We are proud to support the Women of the Year Awards and eagerly anticipate celebrating the achievements of women across business and society at next month’s ceremony.”
Now in its 42nd year, the Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards is set to take place at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on October 11. The awards celebrate outstanding female role models across various sectors, receiving over 300 high-calibre nominations from women throughout the UK this year.
