Snows Motor Group has appointed Jack Brockhurst as its new corporate sales manager at its Kia dealerships in Basingstoke, Guildford, and Newbury.
Brockhurst, who began his career with Snows Kia Basingstoke three years ago, quickly advanced from retail to corporate sales and is now managing fleet sales across these key locations.
In 2023, Snows supplied over 800 Kia vehicles to corporate customers – with 70% being hybrids – which make up 60% of their business.
Brockhurst noted the significance of corporate sales for both Kia and Snows. “The world of corporate sales is a key driver for Kia,” he said. “They put a lot of emphasis on it. In fact, the split is roughly 60% fleet, 40% retail.”
Kia has been gaining momentum in the UK market with more than 100,000 registrations last year and a similar performance expected for 2024.
The brand has made significant strides in electrifying its range, with models like the EV6 and EV9 making a strong impact, and the EV3 set to launch soon.
“I predict that the EV3 will be a proper big-hitter and a possible successor to the Kia Niro,” Brockhurst said.
“With a 372-mile range, it’s set to be incredibly popular, both for retail and corporate customers. EVs can tend to be corporate-heavy, but demand for the EV3 will be more balanced because of its price point.”
Brockhurst is optimistic about the growing role of electric vehicles in both retail and corporate markets. “We all have a part to play, especially in building confidence around charging,” he noted.
