Tesla launches 436-mile range Model 3

Tesla has introduced a new Long Range RWD variant of the Model 3 that has a 436-mile range priced from £44,990.

The new derivative offers the longest range of any Model 3 to date.

The new powertrain has been intoduced following the Highland update for the Model 3, earlier this year.

Tesla says the new car can achieve almost 5.0mi/kWh, making it the manufacturers most efficient model to date.

The EV manufacturer delivered 439,975 Model 3/Ys globally in Q3, accounting for 95% of the brand’s total sales.

Tesla reached the milestone of 200,000 vehicles delivered to UK customers earlier this year, just 10 years after it launched here with the Model S.

It means, with the UK celebrating the registration of its one-millionth battery electric vehicle (BEV) in January 2024, Tesla was responsible for one-fifth of all EVs on UK roads.

Tesla says it has established a “robust” direct-to-customer sales and service model across 40 locations in the UK.

It also services 50% of all its vehicles using mobile servicing, allowing customers to arrange for a vehicle service whether at home or while at the office.
